I have done my best to be an honest mirror of this country — to share its stories, colors, music, and traditions, and to present it as Moroccans know it from the inside, and as visitors dream of it from afar.
Writing about Morocco was never an easy task. How do you summarize a heart that beats with civilizations and longing? Yet, I tried to offer a human and heartfelt vision — one that lights the way for those who wish to discover this country not with the eyes of a tourist, but with the soul of a lover.
If I’ve succeeded in planting a seed of curiosity, or reminded you of a beautiful memory, or made you smile at the mention of a steaming tagine or a local festival… then this book has fulfilled its purpose.

Welcome to pages born from passion, written with belonging, and designed with the eyes of someone who sees Morocco not as a destination, but as a feeling.
I’m not a famous writer, nor do I pretend to be. I am simply the son of this land—raised on the scent of homemade tagine in my grandmother’s kitchen, and carried across the regions of Morocco like a dream moving through the silence of a starlit night.
This book is not just a travel guide. It’s a mirror reflecting Morocco as I live it and love it—authentic, diverse, raw, poetic, and full of stories hidden in the details.
I built it patiently, page by page, using real images and Moroccan spirit—through colors, language, tradition. Designed on Canva, crafted from my heart.
